A motorcyclist was seriously injured Sunday after a collision with another vehicle along one of the busiest intersections in Palm Bay.
The collision happened at about 3 p.m. in the 1700 block of Palm Bay Road. The motorcyclist was transported to Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne.

Traffic was temporarily rerouted, with the eastbound lanes of Palm Bay Road shut down at Babcock Street.
An investigation was underway.
