One person suffered moderate injuries from a fire today at an apartment building in Palm Desert.
The victim was rushed to an area hospital, the Riverside County Fire Department reported.
Firefighters dispatched at 6:28 a.m. to the 77000 block of California Drive had the fire contained at 7:05 a.m.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
