WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The U.S. Attorney's Office and Veterans Affairs said they will announce federal charges Wednesday related to a fraud and corruption scheme at VA hospitals in West Palm Beach and Miami.
A 2 p.m. news conference is scheduled in West Palm Beach at the U.S. Attorney’s office for the Southern District of Florida.
Scheduled to speak at the news conference are: U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida Ariana Fajardo Orshan, Assistant Inspector General for Investigations David S. Johnson and Special Agent in Charge David Spilker of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Inspector General.
