Cal Fire reports a 2-story commercial structure fire in the 74-000 block of El Paseo in Palm Desert.
The blaze is burning on the second floor.
Fire crews were alerted at about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.
No word on damage or injuries.
The fire appears to be on the east end of El Paseo, which has been described as the Coachella Valley's high-end shopping district and is often dubbed the “Rodeo Drive of the Desert.”
